Johnson & Johnson sells prescription drugs and medical devices through two divisions. The pharmaceuticals division focuses on treatments for immune disorders, cancer, and neurological conditions. The medtech division makes surgical tools, orthopedic implants, cardiovascular devices, and vision care products. Customers are hospitals, clinics, physicians, and patients, with revenue coming from product sales to healthcare systems and through insurance reimbursement. The consumer brands business (Kenvue) was spun off in 2023, so J&J is now purely a pharmaceutical and medical device company. Roughly half of revenue comes from the U.S., with the rest spread internationally.
