Vitesse Energy owns minority, non-operating interests in oil and gas wells across the Williston Basin (North Dakota/Montana) and parts of the Central Rockies (DJ Basin, Powder River Basin). It doesn't operate the wells itself — larger oil companies drill and run operations while Vitesse funds its share of costs and receives a proportional cut of production revenue. Revenue comes from oil and natural gas sales. Customers are effectively the commodity markets. The business model is built around acquiring these passive working interests and distributing the resulting cash flow to shareholders.
