Heico Corp (NYSE: HEI.A)

Heico makes FAA-approved replacement parts for commercial aircraft and specialized electronic components for defense systems. On the commercial side, it sells aftermarket spare parts — essentially cheaper alternatives to OEM parts — to airlines and MRO (maintenance, repair, and overhaul) shops. On the defense side, it produces niche subcomponents for targeting systems, electronic warfare, and simulation equipment, sold primarily to defense contractors and the military. The company grows partly through frequent small acquisitions of niche aerospace and defense suppliers. Revenue comes from both segments, with the commercial parts business providing steady recurring demand tied to aircraft flight hours.
