Honeywell International is a diversified industrial conglomerate that sells hardware, software, and services across four segments: aerospace (cockpit systems, engines, avionics), industrial automation (process controls, sensors, safety equipment), building automation (HVAC controls, security, fire systems), and energy/sustainability solutions (refrigerants, materials, carbon capture tech).

Customers include commercial airlines, defense agencies, oil & gas operators, manufacturers, and building owners/operators worldwide.

Revenue comes from equipment sales and, importantly, recurring aftermarket services (maintenance, upgrades, spare parts) tied to its large installed base — roughly one-third of revenue is recurring. The business model relies on selling equipment to lock in long-term service contracts.
